Killarney - Killeen Course

Killarney Golf and Fishing Club
Friday 27th July 2018
Set of golf clubs!

Hugging the shores of Lough Leane, Killarney Killeen, which has benefited hugely from recent upgrading work and is known the world over for having played host to the European Tour's Irish Open in recent years, as well as many other prestigious events in the past.

The Killarney lakes and high mountain range provide an imposing backdrop to this championship course and at 6,593 metres, it will challenge long hitters with accuracy being vital as there is water on virtually every hole.

Killeen is considered the flagship course of the club. It reopened in June 2006 and is slightly longer with faster greens, which have been brought closer to the water hazards around the course.

Long accurate shots will be rewarded on this course.

Entry to The Golf Digest  Open is €65 per player and is open to all golfers who wish to participate, even those without an official handicap.

Only golfers with an official GUI or ILGU handicap can enter the main Category competitions.

All golfers, including those without an official handicap can win prizes on all four Par 3 Nearest the Pin competitions, two Longest Drives competitions, as well as the 15 great Raffles Prizes.

All Category winners on the day go through to the Golf Digest Grand Final, which will be held later this year in October.
