Ballyliffin - Glashedy

Ballyliffin - Glashedy
Saturday 21st April 2018
Set of golf clubs!

Home to the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open 218 the Glashedy Links is designed around imposing dunes at the world-famous Ballyliffin Golf Club and has earned notoriety for its devilish bunkers and its testing opening three par fours, but a tricky start is hardly anything to complain about, especially when you consider the expansive views afforded by the course of the countryside, coastline and ocean.

The Glashedy Links is a Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock masterpiece fashioned around the incredible dunes, and is rated amongst the best links tracks in the world.

Over 7,000 yards in length from the championship tees, the Glashedy Links provides all its visitors with an unforgettably challenging yet thrilling golfing experience.

Entry to The Golf Digest Open is €70 per player and is open to all golfers who wish to participate, even those without an official handicap.

Only golfers with an official GUI or ILGU handicap can enter the main Category competitions.

The categories include: Handicap 0-12, 13-24 and Ladies 0-36.

All golfers, including those without an official handicap can win prizes on all four Par 3 Nearest the Pin competitions, two Longest Drives competitions, as well as the 15 great Raffles Prizes.

All Category winners on the day go through to the Golf Digest Grand Final, which will be held later this year in October.

The winner will be crowned the Golf Digest Champion Golfer 2016 and will also receive the The Golf Digest Champions Cup - the biggest silver trophy in the history of Irish sport.
