THE KING KERRY CUP

To celebrate the life and times of the King, Arnold Palmer. Tralee Golf Club in association with Golf Digest Ireland presents the King Kerry Cup. A two day single stableford Competition played on the world famous links of Tralee Golf Club, designed and built by the legendary Arnold Palmer.

This stunning setting represents a true paradise for those willing to challenge what is widely acclaimed as one of the finest links courses in the world.

The course is historically significant on many levels, as a vessel from the Spanish Armada sailed by the 17th hole in 1588, and the scenery of the first and second holes were featured in the beach scenes of the 1970 Academy Award Winning Film Ryan's Daughter.

Smitten at first sight, Palmer would later go on record with this memorable quote: “I may have designed the first nine, but surely God designed the back nine”

There will be goodie bags on each day as well as special on-course prizes. The competition will be cumulative stableford scoring over two days and there will be three over categories: 0-12 handicap, 13-24 handicap and a ladies category. The over all winner will be the golfer with the highest stableford points and will win the King Kerry Cup -  specially commissioned Waterford Crystal Trophy.

The total cost for playing in this unique competition on the great links of Tralee Golf Club for two consecutive days is just 180 euros - A Saving of 240 euros!

Book early to avoid disappointment.
