These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times for all events for 2014.

Payment

To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or
debit card details using our secure on-line payment process.
Your card details & payment will be processed within 2 working days. It is not possible to book a space without payment.

Cancellation Policy
You cannot cancel your booking on the web site. To cancel please call 01 4199604 and speak with the events team.

If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before the event date of play,
there will be no charge made to your credit/debit card.

If you cancel your booking less than 7 days in advance, you will be charged the full amount of the booking.

Failure To Cancel Your Booking
If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of
the event fee & booking fee made to your credit/debit card.

Course Closed
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being
closed (e.g. bad weather), your payment will be refunded.

Handicaps
These events are only available to golfers who have a handicap of 24 or
less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap, you
must be able to play to an equivalent standard and you will not be eligible to play in the full competition. You will be eligible for the novelty prizes (long drive / nearest pin / raffle).

GUI / ILGU handicaps will be checked on the day of play.

 

The GUI & ILGU requires players to return all scores in Non-Qualifying Competitions which have been played over a Measured Course to which the Unions have allotted a Standard Scratch Score and where Competition Play Conditions exist. This information is to be used by the Handicap Committee for immediate consideration/action in accordance with the provisions of Clause 23(B) (General Play Adjustment) with the exception of Category 1 players. 

 

Golf Digest Ireland Events will facilitate the reporting of scores to home clubs by

a. Notifying every golf club with players in the event of the scores recorded and the SSS of the course played

b  Making available, on request, the scorecards for players to return to their home club and/or making available on request the scorecards to clubs for their members. On such a request Golf Digest Ireland shall scan the scorecard and send it to the player and/or the club.

 

Golf Digest Ireland Events will also bring to the attention of the GUI and ILGU the full results of each event.

 

Dress Code
Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies. The following are therefore not
permitted: denims, shorts, football/rugby tops, .....

Spikes
Soft spikes only may be worn.

Competition Rules
The competition is a singles stableford event off full handicap. Prizes are available in all categories and the tournament directors decision is final on all matters.
